A) 12th July - Mangala – international tournament

Rules: Standard Mangala rules

Tournament system: 

up to 8 players round robin, 10 min + 2s

over 8 players 5-7 rounds Swiss 10 min + 2s

compulsory recording of games

Starting fee:  100 CZK adults, 50 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+

Players registered after 30th June 2024 will pay additional charge of 50 CZK.

B) 13th July - Toguz main - international tournament

Rules: Standard rules of Toguz kumalak, Toguz korgool

Tournament system: 

up to 8 players round robin, over 8 players 5-7 rounds Swiss, 20-30 min + 2s

men a women can play in separate groups if the total number of players exceed 20

compulsory recording of games

Starting fee:  200 CZK adults, 100 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+ (to be paid to Czech Open)

Players registered after 30th June 2024 will pay additional charge of 50 CZK.

Type of prizes: material, financial, prizes for juniors.

C) 14th July - Oware – international tournament

Rules: you can capture all opponents cups, leave your opponent without move and end the game. Other rules are same as international ones.

Tournament system: 

up to 8 players round robin, over 8 players 5-7 rounds Swiss 15-20min + 2s

Starting fee:  100 CZK adults, 50 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+ (To be paid to Czech Open)

Players registered after 30th June 2024 will pay additional charge of 50 CZK.

D) 15th July - Bestemshe – international tournament

Rules: Toguz kumalak, Toguz korgool without rules of Tuzdek, played on 2x5 board with 5 pieces in each cup at the beginning.

Tournament system: 

up to 8 players round robin, over 8 players 5-7 rounds Swiss 7-10 min + 2s

Starting fee:  100 CZK adults, 50 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+

Players registered after 30th June 2024 will pay additional charge of 50 CZK.

E) 15th July - Bao – international tournament

Rules: Standard rules of Bao la Kiswahilli

Tournament system: 

up to 8 players round robin, over 8 players 5-7 rounds Swiss

Starting fee:  100 CZK adults, 50 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+

Players registered after 30th June 2024 will pay additional charge of 50 CZK.

F) 15th July – Toguz for Computers – international tournament

Rules: Standard rules of Toguz kumalak, Toguz korgool. Game is played by computer program or mobile application. Move is immediately played also on standard board.

Tournament system: 

round robin, 30s per move (counted from moment of entering opponent’s move to moment of display own move), no limit to number of programs per country. 

Starting fee:  free of charge if author announce his intention to participate by 10 July to federace@mankala.cz  100 CZK for programs registered at venue after start of Czech Open festival.

Starting fee:  100 CZK adults, 50 CZK juniors 18- / seniors 65+

I) 16th July - Mancala games seminar

Mancala seminar will consist of playing Bestemshe blinfold, mathematical experiment with Togyzqumalaq game (what is the difference in strategy, it there is no limit for Tuzdek) and master class lessons of any mancala game, depends on players interest.

There is no starting fee, no prizes and no specific registration time for this event. Seminar will take place on Tuesday 16th July after Mangala tournament.
