European Amateurs Championship in Chess will take place on 21.7.-1.8. 2004. There will be 8 categories together:
- men with ELO FIDE < 2200 (tournament B)
- women with ELO FIDE < 2200 (tournament B)
- men with ELO FIDE < 2000 (tournament C)
- women with ELO FIDE < 2000 (tournament C)
- men with ELO FIDE and ELO national < 1800 (tournament D)
- women with ELO FIDE and ELO national < 1800 (tournament D)
- men active chess with ELO FIDE < 2200 (tournament G)
- women active chess with ELO FIDE < 2200 (tournament G)
Every ECU member federation has the right to nominate at 1 player and 1woman player in each of these categories without paying starting fee. Other applicants can register directly to the organizer and they pay the given starting fee.
