Fischerandom Chess - system of pieces shuffle

In the tournament in Pardubice before the start of every game setting up the pieces will be shuffled by an arbiter using a die. The position of pieces in the given round is the same for all games and will be shown on the demonstration board.

Shuffling system:

Step 1
If you roll a 1, place a white bishop on a1
If you roll a 2, place a white bishop on c1
If you roll a 3, place a white bishop on e1
If you roll a 4, place a white bishop on g1
If you roll a 5 or 6, roll again.

Step 2
If you roll a 1, place the other white bishop on b1
If you roll a 2, place the other white bishop on d1
If you roll a 3, place the other white bishop on f1
If you roll a 4, place the other white bishop on h1
If you roll a 5 or 6, roll again.

Step 3
Place your White Queen from left on the empty square of the number that you just rolled (ie: if you rolled a 2, place the Queen on the “2nd” empty square).

Step 4
Place your White Knight from left on the empty square of the number that you just rolled. If you roll a 6, roll again.

Step 5
Place the other White Knight from left on the empty square of the number that you just rolled. If you roll a 5 or 6, roll again.

Step 6
Place the White King in-between the two Rooks, one Rook is to the left and one is to the right of the King.

Step 7
Place all eight white pawns on the second row.

Step 8
Place the black pieces in mirror – like position opposite the white pieces and place all eight black pawns on the 7th row.
