CZECH OPEN 2010 - 1st PokeWorld Grand Open (testing for Worlds)

Description: A grandiose tournament held by Pokemon Fan Club of the page PokeWorld.cz. The website has decided to support both professional players and beginning talents. Beginners will be judged separately from professionals and hence there will be a chance of winning for everybody! The website is also planning a lot of competitions in Pokemon spirit on the spot. This is the last chance for professionals how to help our national team members with testing of decks for Worlds. So come and be prepared as if you yourself go to compete to Worlds. We have Pokemon goods for prizes valued at 10 000 CZK. More detail information and discussions about the tournament should be found at www.pokeworld.cz/forum and in the group of PokeWorld on Facebook, where photos will be available after the tournament.

Starting fee: 8,5EUR
Format: Modified (allowed cards - from Diamond and Pearl sets and higher)
Prizes: 36 additional packs of Heart Gold Soul Silver (24 packs for beginners – see programme for beginners)
Additional packs of Heart Gold Soul Silver Unleashed (according to the number of players)
15 packets of Heart Gold Soul Silver (60 pieces in a pack), 9 for beginners - see programme for beginners
Single cards valued at 900 CZK (300 CZK for a winner in each category)
Tournament and prizes will be divided into 3 age groups:
1st category: JUNIORS 0 – 10 years of age
2nd category: SENIORS 11 – 14 years of age
3rd category: MASTERS 15 years of age and more
Programme for beginners: Each player identified during the registration as a beginner (he has not played more than 3 tournaments) will be put into this programme. These players will be judged SEPARATELY from professionally playing participants. And what can our beginners expect in each of given categories?
1st place: 4 boosters + sleeves
2nd place: 2 boosters + sleeves
3rd place: 1 booster + sleeves
4th place: 1 booster
PokeWorld Grand Open is the great chance how to enjoy a day full of Pokemon in the middle of summer, to learn new things, to win interesting prizes and enjoy a lot of fun. So come to play, our Fan Club welcomes you with the greatest pleasure. See you soon.
