CZECH OPEN 2008 - 7th International Go Tournament
tournament rated into the European Cup and Grand Prix of the Czech Republic

Tournament system: McMahon system, equal games, 6 rounds, 60 min. basic time and byoyomi 15 moves/5 min. Participation without age and performance limitations is possible. Unclassified players will obtain the rate 20 kyu.
Criteria used for ranking: MM - coefficient, SOS
Financial prizes: 10 000, 8 000, 6 000, 4 000, 2 500, 1 500 CZK
Prizes for 6 points achieved (except for the first 5 players in the total standing) - 500 CZK. Material prizes in overall value of 2 000 CZK for players with 5 points, best woman, best player up to 18, 15, 12 and 10 years of age.
